No. First-time racers are welcome at every Race Collective event. Our races are designed to support both beginners and experienced young athletes.

Registration is completed online through the link on each event page. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged, as races may sell out.

Yes. Registered families receive an event guide before race day with arrival information, schedules, course details, parking instructions, and a gear checklist.

Participants are grouped by event distance, and then by age. Exact categories and start times may vary by event and will be shared with registered families before race day.

Events generally take place rain or shine. The Race Collective may modify, postpone, or cancel an event if conditions are unsafe. Registered families will receive updates by email.

We want our events to be as welcoming and accessible as possible. Please contact us before registering so we can discuss your child’s needs and determine what accommodations may be available.

We do not allow refunds or transfers for any of our events.

For safety and fairness, parents generally may not enter the course in less instructed by race staff. Please contact us in advance if your child may need additional support.

All participants will receive a custom event finishers medal and event-specific swag when available.

Race staff and volunteers will be positioned throughout the course to assist participants. Trying is an accomplishment, whether or not a child completes the entire distance.

Absolutely. Spectators are encouraged to cheer for participants from designated viewing areas while keeping all race courses clear.
