What inspired your commitment to youth fitness?

I have spent my career witnessing the profound impact movement can have on a child’s confidence, resilience, and overall well-being. Helping children develop the skills and self-belief to lead active lives is not simply my profession—it is the purpose that connects every aspect of my work.

What is your favorite part of race day?

Watching a child’s uncertainty transform into confidence. There is something incredibly powerful about seeing a young athlete take on a challenge, cross the finish line, and realize that they were capable of more than they imagined.

What do you hope every child takes away from a Race Collective event?

I hope every child leaves with a genuine sense of accomplishment and a desire to keep moving. A race can be the beginning of something much larger: greater confidence, a willingness to try new things, and a lifelong understanding that movement can be both joyful and empowering.

What is your favorite way to stay active?

I am an endurance athlete at heart and love both the physical and mental challenge. I also enjoy cycling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with my family.
